Prestigious labels and rising star producers

Our boutique and dynamic Fine Wine Merchant business was born with a clear vision of the owner and founder Davide Pasquero:

“Offer the most sought-after, finest and rarest wines as well as other top and hard-to-find wines made in limited quantity by rising star producers”.

We are focused on the finest Italian wines and the growing demand from private collectors, wine enthusiasts and wine professionals has built a very solid reputation around them so that, nowadays, they are amongst the most sought-after and finest wines in the world.

The quality of Italian wines has been growing impressively but often there is still a limited knowledge of the wines at the International level, except for those few world’s most prestigious and famous labels. Because of that, nowadays more than ever, passion is no longer enough when it comes to the best Italian wines: deep expertise, wide experience and strong knowledge are compulsory.

OUR KNOW-HOW

Thanks to Davide’s past and extensive involvement in the wine production, as he has got wide winemaking experiences in Piedmont, New Zealand, California, Australia, Burgundy and Bordeaux, he boasts technical skills and knowledge that come from his past works with some of the best winemakers around the world. All this allows him and Terroir Selection to stand out and be different when it comes to taste, understand and select the very finest wines.

Although Davide’s vast experience abroad, he has spent most of his life in Piedmont and because of that Terroir Selection is particularly specialized on Barolo and Barbaresco, two of the top Italian wines: his deep knowledge of the region, from the most prestigious wine producers to most of the rising stars is what gives him a lot of credibility and makes Terroir Selection different.

Beyond our huge passion and love for the best Italian wines, particularly concerning Piedmont and Tuscany but also about other great wines from emerging wine regions, we also have a special attention towards the finest and most sought-after wines from Burgundy, Champagne and Bordeaux.

The world’s attention towards the greatest and best Italian wines, not only Barolo and Barbaresco, is continuously growing and we would like to share our love, expertise and passion with our clients.

Whether you are a wine professional or a wine collector, a deep wine enthusiast or a simple wine lover, and you are looking for great, unique and distinctive Italian wines, you are in the right place as we are Fine Wine experts and specialists.

Be different, be a true Italian fine wine connoisseur!

Fine Wine Merchant

Buy the finest Italian wines

Buying the greatest Italian wines can be extremely difficult because often they are hard to find, available in very limited quantities but also because Italy is the most complex wine country in terms of grape varieties and frequently consumers have limited knowledge or are confused.

Our distinctive expertise and unique experience allow us to offer the finest and best expressions of Barolo, Barbaresco and other great Italian wines, no matter how famous or prestigious a label is. We also have a special attention towards the finest and most sought-after wines from Tuscany, Burgundy, Champagne and Bordeaux.

Along with the most sought after wines and the most celebrated producers, which represent the benchmark of a region and have a very strong brand identity, our very careful selection is also made of rising stars that deserve more attention: we do not offer random Barolo, Barbaresco or any other fine Italian wine just because the market demand is very high, and this is where our extensive expertise and deep knowledge of the wines come into play.

Sell Your Wines

We buy your fine wines

Terroir Selection always looks for fine wines of the greatest vintages from the best producers and we can help you with the evaluation and sale of the wines in your private collection.

Wines must be in impeccable condition, which means good or perfect labels, intact capsules and high fill levels. As always, provenance is key and wines must have been stored properly as well, since both are essential factors to take into consideration when ascertaining the value of a wine. However, it is also determined by many other factors, such as availability, market demand, vintage, ratings, recent auction sales, recent trades and retail price history.

If you are a wine collector, a wine enthusiast, a wine lover or a Food & Beverage professional and you’re thinking about selling entirely or just a part of your wine collection, get in touch with us at This email address is being protected from spambots.
